And Corpus stole a point from Odessa. The Lopes had two points wrapped up and let Corpus tie the game with 1 second left, then lost to the Rayz in a shootout.

The tying goal actually came with five-hundredths of a second left. I've never seen a tying goal so close to the buzzer in all my years of watching and covering hockey.

I listened to the end of that game. Unbelievable.
That Corpus announcer is a goofball. After they tied it up, he says, "The Rayz have pulled a rabbit out of the hat - and that rabbit might be a Jackalope." Then during OT he says, "If Turek were any more clutch he'd be a stick shift." WTF was he smoking?

To know him is to love him. His sense of humor (which is real schtick on purpose) may not be appreciated by all. I didn't hear him say those things, but really - am I the only one that thinks that sounds pretty funny?
I know, I'm a homer for Josh. I like Sharky too - does that help?

Sharky rocks. If he had nomadic tendencies I don't doubt that he could be calling hockey games in a much bigger market.
