The Oklahoma City Blazers completed three trades that involved future considerations, Blazers head coach Doug Sauter announced today.

In the biggest of the three trades, the Memphis RiverKings acquired goaltender Sebastien Centomo from the Blazers. The acquisition of Centomo by the RiverKings completes the July 2006 trade for Peter Robertson.

The Blazers acquired forward Adam Loncan from the Rocky Mountain Rage and defenseman Mark Cole from the Odessa Jackalopes. The acquisition of Loncan from the Rage completes the trade with Rocky Mountain for Preston Briggs. The acquisition of Cole from the Jackalopes completes the trade for Emery Olauson.

Loncan is a 6-0, 198-pounder from Dawson Creek, BC. The second-year pro has recorded 43 points (17-26-43) in 115 pro games. Cole, a 6-1, 204-pound native of East Islip, NY just completed his fourth season as a pro. In 189 professional games, he has scored 53 points (8-45-53) while serving 288 penalty minutes.

“Completing trades like this is a tough part of hockey,” said Sauter. “Sometimes you have to give up a good player like Centomo to get a good player like Robertson.”

“Loncan and Cole are both players that have done what they were asked to do by their team. I will be in contact with them over the summer to discuss their plans for next season.”
