Former Lubbock Cotton Kings Captain Paul Fioroni might be doing some name-dropping this week after hanging out with some NHL legends Saturday night in Frisco. Another former Cotton Kings forward Adam Robbins contacted Fioroni to join him to fill a roster spot in the third annual Pros vs. Prospects III Tornado Charity Classic

nice to see Fio scored a goal

Kinda suprising Modano wasnt in this game since I think he owns the Tornados

Not really. Could you imagine the shit he'd get and be in, if he were to somehow come up lame after a charity event? Dallas is currently in 6th place for the playoffs, why would Mo risk it? Sure the charity events are probably about 1/10 the speed of any pro level hockey game, but couldn't you just see some numb nuts skating into MO with a knee to knee hit or something of the sort?
