'Twas the 3rd day of February
and all through the house
not a creature was stirring
except for my mouse...
The 'rents subscribe to Texas Monthly and I picked up the February issue this a.m. to pass the time (my new boyfriend, Jack Daniels, really screws up my sleep cycle) and what should I see in their "Future" issue???
The Cheap Seats: Jason Cohen Pops Off About Sports in which he speculates about "2028: The Year in Sports".
You'll find such gems as "UT and A&M form second football teams" and "San Marcos scores an NHL team".
Next time you're stuck in line at HEB, pick up the 'zine and check out page 40. _________________ I'm not judging you.
I just think you're stupid.

Thanks for the link. If you click on Jason's byline link you'll be directed to a page of links to his prior contributions to TM. (Only a snippet is available to nonsubscribers.) I spit coffee when I saw the synopsis of his 1998 piece on Ricky Williams. I can only read a snippet of the article itself, but I wonder if the synopsis misrepresents what Jason actually wrote about Williams.
I'm not aware that Ricky Williams ever really "had his head screwed on straight." _________________ NHrow7 (1996-2006)
