Steve took his harassment like a champ...I mean come on...when your last name is DIX, you kind of have to expect it anywhere you play. Steve, and some of the other players, seemed to get some laughs out of it all...but French didn't.

The only time we thought we saw a smirk was when we asked him "How many Dix it took to get called for 'too many men on the ice' three games in a row?"

Despite the 'openness' of this forum, I will still refrain from posting the NICE words French used when responding to our jokes...

Why are some Thunder Fans so down on French? He was able to show a whole section of fans his AGE AND IQ all with one FINGER!!!
Such class for a so called Coach!!!
That display was seen by young children!! What an example he is!!

He is the first CLASSLESS COACH I have seen at a game.
The Thunder deserve BETTER

...the coach from Memphis was just as bad when the River Queens visited last.

I don't know...you tell him to get a leash for his goalie (Streling, of course) and he starts singing a four-letter word serenade!!

Now I've seen Coach K get angry, but never have I seen him direct his disgust at the crowd.

Coach K has more class in his fingernail
than French could ever have!

I forgot about The Head Turtle!
At least with all the noise in the centre only those really close up or those that can lip read could hear Queens coach. But French displayed it right out there the whole length of 215 and part of 214

There was a lady holding up a cell phone Hope she got the picture.Management Got Complaints from several people Not at them but about French
Of course if there is a picture I'm sure CHL won't do anything about it!!
Sure would like to see him get a fat fine!!

Give me a break. Every coach who has ever coached a hockey game has done that, as has your favorite team and it's players. Did you put them on the cross when the "kids" seen them do it?

My guess is not.

He was definitely more entertaining than Coach Bonaduce from Bossier...he barely ever reacts at all...

What I'm most upset about is the loss of Coach Leslie Neilson (I can't remember his real name) the ex-Odessa coach....He seemed to enjoy the Frank Drebin and Airplane! jokes...the Jacks didn't make it to Y-town this season, so we missed out. Hopefully the Blunder will hire him to replace French!!

I don't want him, i'd rather have Trevor Buchanon from the Mudbugs, he was a winner when he played, he has worked for a winning org, and as much as I hate to say it he has worked under a winner (Scott Muscutt). Also I think his style would fit well with Thunder fans. If not for the Thunder and Global builds that arena in Lebanon, a suburb of Nashville, i'd love to see him coach there as well.

Trevor is going to make one fine head coach oneof these days. I sure will hate the day when he & his family leave the Bossier-Shreveport area.
