I say hell no! In the watered down CHL Playoiff format that seems to take on the AYSOs everyone plays motto, if the Thunder get passed golf cards, French needs to be handed a one way bus ticket back to the freaking CIS!!!!

I don't think Wichita's problem is it's players. I guess that ought to lead anyone to an obvious conclusion.

The ICT management seems to be a problem too. Are they still sending goons into the stands during games to beat up fans? Still calling opposing fans "retards?"

What the hell is a goon? I seem to remember something about a goon two years ago but the concept has escaped me. :

But your right the management doesn't seem worried as long as fans are in the stands. Well they wont be for long if this shit keeps up!

I really dont like that coach french because his teams are not good and they do not play that rough enough. Even when Latos were here his teams were no good but they played rough and it was fun even if the lost.

i have liked this team since brian wells was the caoch and his teams were good and they fought exceot at the end when they fought but were not as good but those games were always a riot. then Latos took over and the team was nver that good. derek laxdils teams were good and fought some not as much as wells but enough to be cool. now french is here and last yeat and this year they were ok last yeat but not good this year and dont fight well any of the two years. but they need to win tha games against yungstown or thwy will not get to the palyoffs beacuse i think youngstown is fourth and the thunder is sixth or seventh but they need to get to fouth or there out of the playoffs.

Some of that made a little sense, if I figured it out right, but this year the top 6 teams get into the playoffs instead of just the top 4. Nonetheless they really need to step it up and if Seabass is going to be out for any length of time they will really be in trouble.

It's easier to decipher if you knock back a few. I read it and understood everything.

Personally, were I a Thunder fan I'd be calling for the team to go in a new direction (UP?) and that means changing either players or coach or both.

I'd vote for a new coach. After what I saw this weekend, I'm beginning to think French is complete idiot.

When 2 of your top players (Duda and Blaznek) come back to the bench wincing in pain and clutching their arms/wrists, you should at least check and see if they are ok...he seemed not to even care!!

And when a cry-baby like McLean is averaging 14 PIM's a game (including 2 game-misconducts) I think it may be time to sit him down, considering he's doing more damage to the club than he's helping.

yes i want a new coach because french is not all that good of a coach just a little better then latos but not much and e is much worse then wells and laxdel. those are the only coaches i know much about becaue i started goin to games when wells was the coach and theose games were fun because they were usually good and coudl fight welll too.

The Blunders looked like a completely different team than last season. They seem to rely on their speed and that's it. There was no sense of toughness or aggresiveess in the first 2 games...they did seem to come on in the 3rd game, at least their hitting picked up a bit, but the Hounds just bullied them during the first 2 games of the set.

French looked clueless behind the bench...even during timeouts he'd stand there, holding the marker board, but never draw anything on it....you'd think he'd try to come up with something when the Blunder were losing...

The absence of physical play has been a sore spot for Thunder fans for a couple o f years now.

But even last season's team put thier bodies into the game....I remember when they came to town and pounded the Hounds pretty good.

At least for the first 2 games, it seemed like they (to steal your line, I think) were playing with eggs in their pockets. And when they did start to pick up the checking, they chose the wrong guys to try to knock out of the play. McLean (5'9" - 195 lbs) trying to check Maslonka (6'6" - 245 lbs) was kind of comical...he just bounced off of Milan and onto his ass.
