Seabass--uh-oh!!!!

It sounds like Seabass is going to be out 5 games, and the Thunder signed a 16 year old to back up Martin. All I can say is WTF, with them being so close to tee times on March the 26th you would think they could find someone that has actually graduated high school to back up Martin god forbid he should go down. The rest of the team around him needs to step up and they really haven't shown the ability to do that. I really wish I could be more optimistic but sheesh!!!

Andrew Martin is a great kid hated to see him leave Bossier last year.

I thought that kid looked young, but I figured he was over 18 at least!!

Martin didn't do too bad of a job...a lot of the goals against were not really his fault...specifically the 2 short-handed goals on Sunday....the defense just imploded on him.

The article this morning is saying he might be out for the year, just depending on how the ankle does.

That is what French deserves, he rode Sebass like a freakin horse and our lack of D forced him to stop 40+ SOG several nights in a row. It just wore him down.

Martin does seem capable but he still isn't Seabass.

Yep Martin will do fine, and keep the team in games and give them a shot to win them. But he probably won't 'win' the games that Seabass won and it will be up to the team to do the rest. From what they have shown so far it doesn't look so good. They seem to leave their tender out on an island and let him get pelted by shots while not taking too many shots of their own. And they have GOT to get a legitimate back up if he is out for a while. A 16 year old is just not going to cut it.

Well, Martin is 2-0 and the offense has scored 5 in 3 staright games.

Martin is playing very good and im glad hes stepping up because leplant is a good goalie and it relly sucks that hes hurt even if hes not that good at fighting but hes not supposed to fight that much. but maritin is better in shootouts so maybe if he even gets lepant healty if they go to a shoot out i say put martin in even though a lot would say thats a bad idea i think it will work.

Yes Martin has played well in the absence of Seabass. Also the Thunder is going to get another back up goalie in there. But the D needs to step it up and stop allowing so many shots. They cannot count on 5 goals a game out of that offense, their precision shooting offense lol.

matin played good but the defense is not helping him much at all and they leave him hanging just like tehey do to Lapalnt and that is not ghoing to help them win games.
