I wonder if Bourdon was violating a contractual provision that "thou shalt not do crazy things like ride motorcycles or jump out of airplanes or go bungee-jumping."

Funny... you could not pay me enough to ride a motorcycle on city streets but I'd have no qualms about skydiving or bungee jumping.

A certain sports star I know couldn't, by contract, water ski yet his teammate (Bo Jackson) was cleared to play in the NFL. That decision by management resulted in a hip replacement and the end of his career in both sports.

Reuters and AP are now reporting that Luc Bourdon got his motorcycle license two weeks ago.
Boucher described his nephew as someone who "liked to be crazy and do crazy things."
Uh-huh....yep.

You'd think pro sports franchises would write a Jeff Kent/Kellan Winslow clause into everyone's contract. That clause would null and void the player's contract if they are found to be doing something STUPID that could cause injury, thus harming the team's investment in said player. Jeff Kent hurt himself "washing his truck." Later we found out, he was riding a motor cycle off-road and ate shit and broke something. Kellan Winslow Jr. (Browns TE) damn near killed himself in a parking lot trying to do tricks on his rice burning, crotch rocket bike.
