After a fairly heated weekend in OHIO, I hope the Witchita fans get to see the same agressive play...even if it means the Blunder lose!!

Good Luck to both teams!!

1-0 Blunder so far....I think the Hounds needs to get more aggressive....the Power Play sounds like a lot of passing an little shooting!!

Now its 2-1 steelhounds. The Thunder need to realizw when you allow twice the shots you probably allow twice the goals!

That also makes 3 short-handed goals in 2 meetings with the Hounds...The Blunder have the #3 Peanlty Kill, but need to be a little better on their Power Play (defensively, that is).

I wouldn't be too upset...you still got 1 point...unlike the Oilers, who will get nothing after tonight's loss in Colorado

That is true but this crap of losing 1, winning 2 then losing 2 and winning 1 has to stop. it is getting old for even me.

You really got to take a step back and look at the good points....you're starting to sound like me last season!!

Look at it this way....as of right now the Blunder are headed for the post season...the remainder of your schedule isn't too bad...a few tough ones (Colorado, Bossier, Amarillo), but there are also some games the Blunder Boys can easily win (Tulsa & Rocky Mt.)

On the other hand, the Oilers have some big matches coming up, including 6 games against Bossier and 2 vs. Memphis (and 1 against the Hounds!!)...and remember...they are the ones in the "must win to advance" position.

If the Blunder can win even just 50% of their remaining games, you should still be on your way to the playoffs....I don't see Tulsa or Rock Mt going undefeated the remainder of the season to take the #6 seed away from you!!

Thank god for the Eagles, two games ahead of Tulsa, Tulsa has two games in hand. This is going to come down to the wire! I was hoping the Thunder would use the series with y-town to try to make a move for the fifth or fourth spot but it doesn't look like that will happen now. So once again it looks like they are content with another first round exit, getting thrown around like a ragdoll and bitchslapped out of the playoffs!

man that game almost put me to sleep last night and i was exciteid about dallas anderson comiong and nothing happened. He kpet pushin the thunder around an nobody would do anything about it no hancock or coghlan or anyone they just let him skate around the rink takin chaeap shots and stuff. And maritn did good until the shootout and then he looked worse then laplant in the shootout and only stopped one but he made a lot of saves to just get them to the shjootout and the point they got.

Pred - I wouldn't totally rule out the #5 seed. OKC (who is tied for #4 with Y-Town) has been so-so lately, winning 50% of their last 10 games...and the Blunder Boys get 4 games with the Blazed for a chance to make a move up. OKC also has 6 games against higher seeded teams (Colorado, Bossier, Memphis, and Amarillo).

Remember, a lot can happen in the 18 games OKC has left...

They have 2 games with Memphis, not sure if they are in Memphis or OKC though.

Yes, Youngstown would be a little bit of a trek....I won't say it's worth the drive...I leave that up to those visiting fans that make it here to decide. We ususally get good remarks on the arena....there's really not a bas seat in the house!! Good Italian food....a "gentleman's club" across the street from the players' hotel...great hot wings, that they make you sign a waiver for, prior to eating...

I'm not sure what you are smokin but Dallas was as calm as I have ever seen him. HanChuck and Ryan both kind of went after him more than once, both talking but nothing coming out of it. I never seen him once (Dallas style) cheap shot anyone. I thought he was pretty quiet.

Martin was flat smoke in the shoot out. That was nasty!

Don't cuss and you will be fine. If you actually took te time to read on the Thunder Board you will find that there are some good hockey debates but I don't think that is really why you post anywhere..
