The Pens had better be. Franzen's supposed to play tonight. They've gotta find some way to get Malkin going, and some way to get Crosby away from Datsyuk and Zetterberg. _________________ NHrow7 (1996-2006)

| Ok, I wanted a long series and didn't really care who won but now I'm enjoying the hell out of listening to Therrien whine about obstruction and the refs and Osgood taking dives.

Looking like my Wings in 5 prediction might have been giving the Sydney Crosby's too much credit. Though I do think the pens will win one for their fans. Still standing by Wings in 5. VLP, mah pick don't be looking so far fetched at the moment, riiiight?!?!?!? _________________ Build a man a fire, and he'll be warm for a day. We just have to execute. I mean, they got a few chances. Did they really get that many scoring chances on us? I don't think they did. They got a few and put them in. And we hit a post and pucks go through us by the net that we don't put in. That's the difference, to be honest. They're not getting that many scoring chances more than us. We're not executing.
We get odd-man rushes, very few, but when we get them, we have to capitalize on them. But by no means are they out-chancing us by a whole lot. It's just the nature of the game. It's tight in the neutral zone. It's like that for both teams. I mean, if they're skating down every time, getting odd-man rushes and tons of chances, I'd be worried. But it's the nature of the game, and they're capitalizing and we're not.
Yeah your team just got their asses kicked 7-0 over two games. It's not like it was a hockey clinic or anything, so no reason to be worried. No, not at all. Just keep doing more of the same and I'm sure you'll get the job done. Riiiiiight. _________________ “I’m so frustrated with the business. The Series for the Ages hasn't been much of a series, huh? I'm disappointed so far. The Wings are just....so....good. The Malkin/Sykora line didn't even have a SOG last night.
Things MIGHT be different when Pittsburgh gets the last line change.
Without caring which side wins, I hope things will be different.
And yeah dfwbat, you may hit the bullseye. Even though I said Pens-in-six, I also said anything was possible in this series. Even Pens-in-six is still possible, though I ain't holding my breath. _________________ NHrow7 (1996-2006)

Filppula's goal was #2 on ESPN's Top 10 plays this morning. Totally awesome! If the birds don't ramp it up in Pittsburgh, this is going to be over much too fast. . . . .
