I wonder how many burning man participants are also concerned out carbon emmissions, or can make the connection between burning a wooden structure for their own amusement, or the gas burned in their cars to get out to that spot, or all the gas generators used to run all their little electronic gadgets and increased carbon emmissions. Typical progressive-liberal hypocracy
I'm gonna buy a Christmass tree farm & start selling carbon offsets to the little dweebs. _________________ If you can't beat them, BEAT THEM.

Nothing makes me madder than when I see one of these tree-huggers with his Ralph Nader or Dennis Kucinich bumper sticker on the back of his or her Suburban. A friggin' eight-passenger car and you look over into the vehicle and all you see is the driver and her handbag.
Since the customary excuse is that "I feel safer in a large vehicle," I must confess to experiencing a few moments of glee every time I hear about one of these vehicles rolling over, or creaming someone from behind because the driver didn't leave enough of an interval for proper braking.
And we won't even get into the subject of how these vehicles enrich the very people who are determined to kill us all. _________________ NHrow7 (1996-2006)

Doesn't it count as a carbon offset if you have a Gore bumper sticker on your SUV? _________________ “I’m so frustrated with the business. If you look at my junior stats, there’s a lot of guys that come out of juniors with those kind of stats that sign pretty big contracts.” --James Hiebert

Of course it does!
Remember, it's only hypocracy when other people do it
And it's never hypocracy if one is too clueless or self-deluding to realize you're doing it too! _________________ If you can't beat them, BEAT THEM.

LOL bk!
Hey, if you have an Al Gore bumper sticker, you SHOULD get rear-ended. JMHO
Invented the internet...pffft, what a jackass.
But hey, then of course there's Senator Larry "I'm not gay and never have been gay" Craig, who would have us all believe that he pleaded guilty to public lewdness "because I didn't have a lawyer," and not because he was trolling for a BJ in the men's room of the Minneapolis airport.
Just how stupid do these people think we ARE??? _________________ NHrow7 (1996-2006)

yes but he does not have an Al Gore sticker on his bum er..bumper
plus he lives in 'I da ho' so maybe that is his excuse
notice he did not say "and I will never become gay"
there is still time for him to find his sexual orientation after his wife kicks his ass to the curb
oh in case some of you missed it, one of the cable news channels played some old film footage of senator craig waxing eloquently during the bill clinton impeachment hearing calling the president a 'nasty, dirty, naughty boy'
made me wonder when and where he learned such language - possibly in the men's room at some airport where he got lucky
oh the hypocrisy of the gun-toting re-public-clans and their preachers

Yeah well the donkeys are no better, Hillary just had to give away a hundred grand that she took in from a felon. And don't forget our friend Bill Jefferson in N'Awlins with ninety grand in his freezer in a box marked "soyburgers."
It's gotten to the point that I wouldn't piss on any of 'em if they were on fire.
Got a great joke in my email the other day. President Bush steps off of the "Marine One" helicopter with a small pig under each arm. The Marine snaps to attention and says "Nice pigs, Mr. President!"
"These aren't just ordinary pigs," Bush tells the Marine, "these are genuine Arkansas razorback pigs. I got one for Senator Clinton, and one for Speaker Pelosi."
The Marine snaps to attention and salutes, and says "Excellent trade, sir!" _________________ NHrow7 (1996-2006)
