Have you been following the running pissing contest between MLB and Little League Baseball over the use of MLB team names and logos?

Nobody knows better than lawyers about protecting one's intellectual property rights, but for cryin' out loud, this just seems to me like an exercise in self-castration.

I guess it's easy enough these days to fill up major league rosters with Latin Americans and Koreans and Japanese, that they can afford to just flip the bird at our own children.

All Little league teams should change their names! (joking)

The Yankees will now be known as the Northern Aggressors.
The Red Sox will now be known as the Crimson Stockings (also known as Curt Schilling's Bloody Sock).
The Tigers will now be known as the Lions, _____, and Bears, OH MY!
The Dodgers will now be known as the Agile Fleet Footed Ones that have Mad Skills Avoiding Being Hit by Objects.
The Indians will now be known as either a) the Native Americans or b) the Casino Owners or c) the Thank You, Come Again, Would you like a Curry Slurpees?
The Royals will now be known as The Inbred Ugly Elitist Monarchs (prince charles' portrait would be their logo).
The Cardinals will now be known as Those Catholic Guys in the Funny Hats That Give Penance to All the Child Molesting Priests.
The Astros will now be known as the What the Fuck are Astros?
The Padres will now be known as the Mexican Catholic Child Molesters Doing "God's" Work.

That WAS pretty funny. But Christ Almighty, for all the money generated by Major League Baseball, for owners and players alike, it seems to me they ought to PAY for Little League teams across America to wear MLB uniforms.

Do we have to import EVERYTHING into this damned country of ours? You know the nation's going to shit when our "national pastime" is mostly being played by foreigners.
