I have to tip my hat to the Bugs for giving my team a butt kicking. It is truly a respectable feet to walk into the Bud barn and put up 9 goals against the Eagles. The bugs seem to have the Eagles number so far.

Tap of the stick to the Bugs to go 5-1 on the road. Getting 4 of 6 points in Y-Town (not that surprising) and getting 6 of 6 points in Colorado, outstanding. Beating the Rage is one thing but winning two against the Eagles in the Bud is impressive. Your team is playing outstanding hockey now and having 11 of your last 16 games at home certainly can't hurt.

Race for home ice could well come down to the final game of the season!

I believe you are right OD. What concerns me is the last 2 weeks of the season. The Kings play in Tul, then off a day, in ODE, then off a day, then in LAR, then in RGV, off a day, at home against TUL, off a day, in OKC, then home against YNG, then home against BOS. That's 8 games in 12 days with 5 of those on the road.

That will certainly make for an intersting finish.

Mudbugs will have 7 games in 12 days over that same stretch.

Four will be at home. Laredo visits on the 13th followed by RGV (the only team the Mudbugs have played & not beaten yet this season) on Friday. They turn right around and play in Wichita Saturday. Tulsa comes to the CTC for a rare Monday night game. The Mudbugs are then off until Friday for teh start of a 3-in-3 at Tulsa, then Memphis, and home to finsih against the Hounds on Sunday.

Looks like its going to be a barn burner of a finish and Colorado certainly does not have the top seed/Govenor's Cup sewn up by any means.

Lots of meaningful hockey left to be played in the Northern Conference.
