The Rangers have 22 GA in 14 games....tonight they looked very solid in a 2-0 win over the Philthadelphia Phlyers....including a beautiful power play goal by 14-blue.

If you're a Rangers fan, you know it's been a rough stretch when opposing fans are chanting "Nineteen Ninety-Four....Nineteen Ninety-Four...."
Never thought I'd hear that. Figured we'd win the Cup again before I'd hear that....or that I wouldn't live long enough....
We still miss Denis Potvin at the Gah-den. ZR and probably a select few other people remember why. (OK I'll tell the rest of you....we used to sit up in the blue seats and chant "Beat your wife Potvin....Beat your wife!....(clap)(clap) Beat your wife Potvin....Beat your wife! (clap)(clap))
Funny how the blue seats never did that to Zubov when he returned as a Dallas Star. Rangers fans just don't hate the Stars like they do the Islanders....and if it weren't for Zubov, Islander fans would probably still be chanting "1940...1940..."

BTW please don't anybody tell me who won tonight's Rangers-Islanders game....I'm watching it on DVR-delay. Great, great game so far....

Well shit, the Isles won this one 3-2, but it was a helluva game. DiPietro had to stand on his head in the last few minutes. Rangers lost control of this one because of one really terrible line change.
