GORILLAS LOOK TO EXPAND THROUGH ONLINE MARKETPLACE - Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at 14:52

AMARILLO, TX – The Amarillo Gorillas of the Central Hockey League (CHL) have broadened their search for additional investors into the franchise through one of the World Wide Web’s largest online marketplaces, eBay. The Gorillas, in an effort to attract potential investors and thus improve the quality of hockey in Amarillo, have placed an advertisement on www.ebay.com to spark such interest.

“This is only a very positive move for our organization,” Gary Thach, one of the Gorillas’ Managing Partners, said. “We’re committed for another season of hockey in Amarillo for 2007-08, but if we can find additional investors that are the right fit here in Texas Panhandle to help us grow this hockey franchise then that’s certainly only going to help us. That’s what we’re hoping to get out of this ad on eBay – some additional support to help improve our product.”

Season tickets for the upcoming 2007-08 season of Gorillas hockey are on sale now at the Gorillas front office starting as low as $290 for all 32 home games.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2007-08 season can be purchased at the Gorillas Hockey Office, located at 1934 Civic Circle off of I-40 and Georgia, the Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets. These include Randy’s Music Mart, the West Texas Event Center in Canyon and United Supermarkets. Tickets can also be charged by phone at (806) 378-3096 or (806) 242-PUCK (7825).

For one this is probably the dumbest move I have ever seen. At first I thought it was a joke, but good old Apeshitter points out this is a plot to get more investors. Why would I invest half of the fee it would take for me to buy my own team to buy half of a team that can't put enough butts in the stands to make even half of my investment worth it.

How bout next season the gorillas make it to the president cup finals, and then maybe I will invest in your team. Until then drop the lame ebay SHIT and look for investors the old fashion way. LIKE WINNING CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!

Just because the Colorado Shit Hawks winn that series in game #7, you best not get too high in your tree in case a couple of your (under the table paid) players get a broken wing & you think they have the conference locked up. But i guess your used to counting your Shit Hawks before they hatch when you can line the nest with green backs.

Not counting anything...If you would have taken your head out of your ass long enough to read my previous posts, I clearly stated that the Eagles needed to get their game together (to LBK) or they would be on the golf course. But, I guess I shouldn't expect that much out of you..........
