Hounds Clinch!!

With the help of the Rocky Mountain Rage, and their win over the Witchita Thunder, the Hounds have clinched a playoff berth in only their second season in the CHL!!

I'm glad the Hounds clinched and can now concentrate on moving up to a higher seed.

But I'm a little concerned about tonite's game. Don't want to jinx anything, but the Bugs and the Kings both lost their next game after clinching a playoff spot. hope we can change the pattern.

congrats on the little x by your name in the standings :D

and yep, your boys clinched tonite....cept I ain't talkin about the playoff spot.

frustration tends to make the puppies a little nasty. if your big boys thought no one would stand up to them, they learned a lesson tonite. it was a physical game from the beginning but you really must stop talking about fonger's cheapshots. Rolling Eyes

now, I think your guys should be out for a little revenge. Take it out on Memphis!!!!!!!

how about we lose in Memphis (but get 1 pt) and still take some aggression out on Colorado. I want to see our guys test out the Best of the BEst rankings and see just how good of fighters Ryan Tobler (#1 Heavyweight) and Fraser Filipic (Pound for Pound) are. I'd be willing to bet that with a 3-game series with Colorado (with a lot still up for grabs in the playoff seeds), we will see some aggressive play and some fisticuffs!!!

PB - for the record, I want to point out that yet another Hounds vs Bungs game included a DIVING calls on the Bungs....hmmm?!?!

patience my dear PB...the Bungs' time will come.

In the meantime, try to give credit where it is due. The Hounds had an 8-game win streak and an 11-game point streak going into last Friday's game. Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the Bungs have made it further than a 6-game streak (of any kind) this season!!

Yeah, I'll give ya credit for the win streak. Too bad your boys had to play us, huh? I'm all for you guys making a final move in the standings. Been cheering you on against everyone but us.

So you give credit where it is due....the bugs for putting the brakes on your streak and the bossier fans for cheering on the pups.

And just for the record, I'll take our spot in the standings over your win streak any day.

We appreciate the Bossier hospitality...too bad we had to leave for Memphis later that night!!

Much credit to the Bungs...they pulled off a big win against the Hounds.
