Congrats to the entire Gorillas organization. Five years of existence, five trips to the playoffs. Grats to Derek Hahn for the game-winning shootout goal. We almost had our usual March referee screw-job, but we overcame Sterns attempts tonight. Hats off to the Scorps for a valiant effort. Austin, it's your turn to win out and join us in the playoffs.

Congrats, AG E! I don't know if Austin can do it! There's always a slim chance; lets hope our guys decide to play the last few games.

Bandit, re-read my post. I was not making excuses for why we won. If you remember last year, we had a game in March against RGV with Depuydt as the ref. He tried everything he could to give the game to Rio, and he succeeded. All I'm saying is that Sterns tried to do the same last night, but we overcame his attempts and won the game on our own merits. I see no "cry me a river" here. Geez, I thought you were the sensible one between you, 5minmajor, and AvsRule.

I am sorry I didn't phrase my post clearer. If you would have lost the game that we are talking about you would have been on here blaming the Ref. Am I correct or did I make an inductive leap?
I am also sorry if I mis-understood your post, but I still think I read it correctly. I understand that while stern's isn't the best ref in the league using the ref as an EXCUSE as to why one team lost a hockey game (which I believe you would have done if you lost) is just as insane of an EXCUSE that a short bench caused the Eagles to lose a hockey game. Can both have an affect on the game? YES, but can they be overcame? YES, so why would one EXCUSE be more or less of an EXCUSE then the other? That is all I was getting at.
If you weren't going to blame the ref if you would have lost why did you bring it up when you won?
