Those who have been with FreeForums.org for the past three months know we put network performance at the very top of our list.
Because of this, we are --yet again-- upgrading our network of servers. We will be installing a new system that utilizes load balancing to spread the load between different servers. In case of a server crash all traffic is automatically routed to another server, thus keeping the network online with no noticeable slowness.
We have invested heavily on hardware in order to make this happen and we feel this will once again give us an edge over the competition.
Thank you for using FreeForums.org and thank you for your patience. |

| We will be preforming the upgrade within the next 1-2 days and will keep you posted. Downtime will range from 1-24 hours depending on your ISP. |

Stage 1 - 10:15 PM (May 4, 2007):
Transferring the support forum has been completed. As part of our disaster recovery plan (DRP) we have loaded the support forum on an independent server. This allows us to still provide support services while any upgrades/maintenance are done to the network. |
